Nantwich Schools are Go-Getters

20th April, 2011

Nantwich primary school children have worked hard to run their businesses at school.  Each  team produced or provided eco-friendly products or services for the other children at school, staff or parents. Profits raised went to local or developing world charities.

Local business ambassadors attended primary schools for the final “Dragon’s Den” style judging days which took place in February/March.The winning teams from each primary school then competed in Final Celebration Challenges at Malbank School and Sixth Form College or Brine Leas School in late March.

Congratulations to St Anne’s Catholic Primary School who won the Malbank Final and Stapeley Broad Lane C of E School who won the Brine Leas Final.

Thank you to the local businesses ambassadors and Police Community Support Officers who have supported the project. Thank you also to participating sixth formers who mentored the primary school children,  and class teachers and school support staff who were involved throughout the process. Finally well done to all the children who took part for their enthusiasm and “go-getter” entrepreneurship!
